PLACE: Marin Cove Homeowner’s Clubhouse, Corner of Schmidt Lane and Steven Way
Directions: 101 to N. San Pedro Rd; L on Schmidt Lane. Look for the Citizen Marin banner.
Background: Five cities have contested city council races (Fairfax, Novato, San Anselmo, Sausalito, and Tiburon.) There are also contested races in the Marin City and Muir Beach Community Service Districts. There are no challengers in Larkspur or San Rafael. In total, 32 candidates are running for 17 contested seats. The election is November 7th.
CITIZEN MARIN: Citizen Marin is inviting the candidates to join us to promote their candidacy, network, and build support for healthy government. Citizen Marin does not endorse candidates, but our network among citizen leaders throughout the county gives candidates a platform to get out their message. It also allows Citizen Marin to identify those county-wide and regional issues that influence every jurisdiction and hear about candidate’s stands.
